Abstract:

The SO Office of DOE develops technical solutions to safeguards problems in the DOE Complex. The SO Office has a modest budget, which is spread between nuclear material control and accounting technology development, computer security technology development and physical security technology development. This talk will discuss the proposal submission process, the base of "user needs" against which proposals are judged, and some recommendations on how to get proposals funded
